Yogh Hospitality
Yogh Hospitality is an emerging name in Suriname’s hospitality and entertainment sector, offering guests a premium experience through its modern hotel and casino facilities. To match the elegance and energy of the interior spaces—and to give the building a strong nighttime presence—Yogh Hospitality required a complete architectural lighting solution. Project Lighting Solutions was contracted to design and supply the lighting systems for the hotel, casino, and façade in collaboration with Philips Lighting.
The Challenge
Yogh Hospitality’s vision was to create an inviting atmosphere across its hotel and casino, while also using façade lighting to give the building a distinct identity after dark. The lighting design needed to support the brand’s upscale positioning, offer visual comfort for guests, and deliver durability and efficiency. Coordinating interior and exterior lighting systems that complement one another—without overwhelming the architecture—was a key design and technical challenge.
Our Solution
Project Lighting Solutions delivered a full lighting design and supply package tailored to the needs of both the hospitality and entertainment areas. We collaborated closely with Philips Lighting to integrate high-performance products that met aesthetic and functional goals. Each lighting element was selected to reflect the mood of its space—elegant and comfortable in the hotel, vibrant and dynamic in the casino, and bold and refined for the building’s façade.

The Design
Warm color temperatures were chosen to complement the natural wood tones and maintain a sacred ambiance. Each fixture was discreetly installed to preserve the building’s visual integrity during the day. The result is a subtle yet powerful nighttime presence that honors the Cathedral’s heritage.
The Design
The interior lighting design focused on creating a layered, welcoming atmosphere. Warm tones and dimmable lighting were used in the hotel to enhance relaxation, while more vivid lighting schemes were developed for the casino to energize the space and guide visitor flow. For the exterior, we designed a façade lighting system that highlights the architectural lines of the building, using dynamic color capabilities and smart controls provided through Philips technology to create a striking nighttime presence that can adapt to events or seasons.
The Result
Yogh Hospitality now features a fully integrated lighting environment that enhances both guest experience and architectural appeal. The hotel and casino benefit from tailored lighting that aligns with their unique atmospheres, while the façade lighting establishes a strong visual identity for the property. The use of Philips Lighting technology ensures reliability, performance, and flexibility—delivering a cohesive lighting solution that supports the brand’s premium image, day and night.
